The Vermilion Parish Tourist Commission is sponsoring their annual Vermilion Parish Cake and Ice Cream Festival.
The event will be held in Abbeville on Saturday, July 27, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The festival is free and will include homemade cake and ice cream contests, water slides, free cake and ice cream and refreshments.
Live music also starts at 10 a.m.
The festival is being held at AA Comeaux Park located at 301 AA Comeaux Memorial Drive in Abbeville.
