ABBEVILLE, La. — The Vermilion Chamber of Commerce is offering a special version of bingo called Support Local Bingo to help residents support local businesses in the face of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak.
According to the bingo game rules, the game runs March 26 - April 17 and is open to any resident who wants to support Vermilion Parish businesses.
Those who do play will be entered into a drawing to win a Vermilion Gift Basket.
Players can print the Shop Local Bingo card and then take screenshots, pictures or videos of themselves completing the tasks and post them on Facebook using the hashtag #ThinkVermilion.
Some of the activities offered on the card include order takeout from a Vermilion restaurant; share supplies with those less fortunate; thank a healthcare professional, thank a farmer when you eat, donate to a food bank and more.
Players must submit their completed cards by April 17 to the Vermilion Parish Chamber Office, fax it to 337-839-1807 or email it to Lynn@VermilionChamber.org.
