One person died Monday afternoon after a shooting on East Sammy Kershaw Avenue in Kaplan.
Kaplan Police say the shooting happened in the 500 block; the victim was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Using eyewitness accounts, officers identified a suspect who was found nearby, and arrested.
