Two Vermilion Parish men arrested on child pornography charges

Two men from Vermilion Parish were arrested this week for possession of child pornography.

The attorney general's office says that the two were arrested following joint investigations with the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, Vermilion Parish Sheriff's Office, Abbeville Police Department, Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, and Homeland Security.

Joshua Kyle Griffith, 30 of Abbeville, was arrested on 10 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen (Possession).

Cory James Dupuis, 31 of Kaplan, was arrested on 4 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles Under the Age of Thirteen (Possession).

Both Griffith and Dupuis were booked into the Vermilion Parish Jail.

In a release announcing the arrests, the Attorney General's office reiterated the AG's call for the CEO of Neflix to remove the documentary "Cuties" from its service noting, "the great harm it causes to kids in Louisiana and beyond."
