Abbeville Police are investigating a shooting that left a woman injured.
Police say the incident happened on December 30, 2019 on the north side of town. They responded to a call of shots fired at a vehicle with adults and children inside. Upon arrival to the scene, police say they found the car which had been struck by several bullets.
One woman was injured in the shooting and received non-life threatening injuries. She was treated at a local hospital. No other people were hurt.
No other details were provided. Abbeville Police ask that anyone with information call the department.
