The West side of Kaplan will experience a planned power outage on Wednesday afternoon, according to Mayor Mike Kloesel.
The outage is scheduled for utility crews to open and repair a transformer that feeds the west side of the city (Everything west of Cushing Ave.)
Kloesel says that the city has planned ahead and crews are prepared to compete the work in the quickest and safest way possible.
The outage is set to begin at 4:00 pm and last about 1 to 3 hours.
