The Maurice City Hall closure has been extended until next Wednesday.
Maurice Mayor Wayne Theriot said on Thursday for protection of his staff and citizens City Hall will remain closed with limited operations until August 5.
Any payments that need to be made by residents can be dropped off in the drop box. Anyone needing to pay a traffic ticket can do so by clicking here.
On July 24, it was announced that City Hall would close due to a possible COVID-19 exposure.
It was set to reopen today.
