Maurice City Hall will reopen its lobby on Thursday, August 6.
The village's city hall has been closed since Monday, July 26, due to the concern of a possible COVID-19 exposure.
Mayor Wayne Theriot says that city hall operations will be limited due to the impact of the virus.
"We ask everybody’s understanding and cooperation. We ask for your prayers for our employees and families who are/were affected by this virus," Theriot said.
Residents are encouraged to wear a mask and practice social distance when out in public.
