Officials with the Magnolia Plantation Water System in Vermilion Parish are asking customers to check their homes for broken pipes.
The water demand on the system right now is causing problems, so officials are asking that residents check their homes and yards for indications of broken pipes.
If you find water standing or broken pipes, please turn your water off at the shut-off valve. If you can't find the valve, or you don't know how to shut it off, just call the system at 337-893-1331 and they will help, officials say.
