Kaplan Police searching for suspect in robbery and shooting

Kaplan Police say they are looking for a suspect wanted in connection to a June 3 robbery and shooting. Police say the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.

On June 3, 2020, Kaplan Police Department responded to a complaint of shots being fired on the 700 Block of North Frederick Ave. Upon arrival at the scene officer say they found that numerous shots had been fired at a home. Police say they are looking for a suspect in that shooting identified as Tyree Bryant.

Bryant allegedly robbed a victim at gunpoint then began shooting at the victim. Police say he is believed to be in possession of the firearm he used to commit the robbery and shooting.

Bryant is believed to have fled the scene in a dark four door truck or SUV.

If anyone has information as to Mr. Bryant’s whereabouts please contact the Kaplan Police Department. Bryant is to be considered armed and dangerous.
