The Town of Gueydan is celebrating two separate events Saturday - a Mardi Gras parade and chicken run and a Winter Festival.
The Winter Festival is being put on by the Chamber of Commerce as a way for the community to come together.
A chicken run was held at 8 am and the parade will roll at 2 pm.
KATC's Victor Jorges will have more at 6 pm.
