Free food available for Gueydan residents Oct. 24

Update: The location has been moved to City Hall located at 600 Main Street. Residents should enter from the east and exit to the west,

Food will be handed out to residents of Gueydan on Saturday, Oct. 24th at noon.

Mayor Jude Reese said there will be an 18-wheeler full of food located at 901 Wilkinson Street.

The food is being supplied by Second Harvest Food Bank.

The town is working on having a permanent food bank location, Mayor Reese said.
