Vermilion Parish Sheriff's deputies are asking for help in identifying a man who robbed the Dollar General in Indian Bayou Wednesday night.
The man entered the dollar store on La. 700 at about 9 p.m., deputies say.
The man walked in wearing a white jump suit, gloves and something covering his face. He took a small caliber handgun out, put it on the counter, and demanded all the money from the register. He left the store and fled, deputies say.
Sheriff Mike Couvillon says that investigators are working diligently in an attempt to identify the person and/or persons responsible for this crime and urges anyone with information to contact the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Division at (337)898-4403.
