Cross Pointe Church holding "Drive-In" services

ABBEVILLE, La. — The Cross Pointe Church in Abbeville announced Friday that is was holding “Drive In” services this Sunday due to the current recommendations/mandates in reference to the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

Church officials say that the new worship format will be put in place beginning Sunday, April 5 at 10 a.m. at the Abbeville City Hall parking lot 101 N. State St., behind behind Abbeville City Hall.

According to Cross Pointe Church, family and guests will be instructed upon arrival to park their vehicles in the designated areas, turn their radios on and remain in their vehicles.

Church officials say their goal is to provide the fellowship and encouragement of worshiping together in a safe and responsible manner.

The church says that “Drive-In” Church services are scheduled to continue throughout the foreseeable future.
