The boil water advisory for the Village of Maurice has been lifted.
Mayor Wayne Theriot says that the village was notified by the Louisiana Department of Health on Wednesday, December 16 that the system has been cleared.
A boil advisory was issued to all residents on Tuesday after the an electrical issue at the water plant caused the village to experience low water pressure.
