The Abbeville Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a 17-year-old runaway
Police say that on September 17, 2020, officers responded to a “missing persons” call at Stonebridge apartment complex. Officers spoke to the complainant who stated that her 17-year-old son, Logan Byron, had ran away from home the day before.
Officers say that Byron got angry and left home on a bicycle after an argument. Byron was entered into the N.C.I.C. database as a runaway. Officers say they have attempted to locate him through numerous contacts, including a girlfriend who lives in New Iberia.
Since that time, Byron has been in contact with his mother but has not returned home.
The public is asked to contact the Abbeville Police Department with any information that may lead to locating and returning Byron Logan to his family.
In addition to contacting the police department though the main phone number (893-2511), you may contact the “Tips” line at 892-6777. All callers may remain anonymous.
