Abbeville Police have released the identity of the victim in an homicide on East Oak Street on Tuesday.
Family had already identified the victim as 20-year-old Aaron Wallace. Police on Thursday confirmed this identification.
As of Thursday, June 4, police say there are no updates in the homicide investigation. No other details on the incident were provided.
Wallace's mother on Tuesday told KATC that her son loved to joke around, but was always there for those who needed him.
"He was always there. He was a sweetheart."
