ABBEVILLE, La. — Abbeville High School teacher Carrie Varino has been named a semi-finalist in the 2021 Teacher of the Year contest by the Louisiana Department of Education.
According to LDOE, these educators are making exceptional gains with students, guiding them to achieve at the highest levels in the state, and their commitment to student success exemplifies Louisiana’s teaching profession.
