The Abbeville City Council will take public comments at it's next regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, May 5.

But those wishing to address the council will have to follow specific guidelines.

The city council says that the meeting will be limited to ten people inside of the room and that those wanting to address the council will have to wait outside the building.

A police officer will escort individuals into the building at the appropriate time.

The meeting will be held at the A. A. Comeaux Recreation Center beginning at 5:30 pm.
