The Abbeville City Council meets in regular session today at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting will be held at the AA Comeaux Recreation Center, 300 AA Comeaux Drive, Suite 200 in Abbeville.
On the agenda are:
- A resolution asking to be included in the state's Capital Outlay Program.
- A variance for a resident who needs to connect utilities to a camper due to Delta damage.
- Discussion of a proposal that would waive demolition permit fees for people who suffered damage from Delta; although the fee would be waived the permit would still be required.
- A wrap-up report from the mayor about Delta damage.
