NEW IBERIA, La — Two people were injured today when their car stalled on the train tracks.
New Iberia Police say the car stalled at the corner of E. St. Peter and Ann streets. The vehicle stalled on the tracks, and the people inside were able to get out. They sustained minor injuries, police say, and were taken to a hospital to be treated.
The vehicle sustained minor damage. The locomotive had no damage at all, and the conductor and engineer weren't injured, police say.
