It's been a really nice weather pattern this week across Acadiana and while that continues on Wednesday it'll be the end of this cool, sunny pattern.
Highs Wednesday afternoon will push into the low 60s with a slight breeze from the south which is bringing in some warmer, more moist air which will set the stage for the back half of the work week.
Clouds will move into the area overnight on Thursday and may lead to a few scattered showers through Thursday afternoon and evening.
The bigger issue on Thursday will be the wind which is going to whip out of the south around 15-20 mph as we get ready to see another front push through Acadiana on Friday.
This front is going to be responsible for a dreary wrap up to the work week with slow, cold, steady showers lasting through the day on Friday and clouds lingering into Saturday.
Acadiana's weekend will stay cool and cloudy with an unsettled forecast that will last through next week.
