Acadiana's weather is stuck in a typical summer pattern which means it is going to be a hot week with temperatures sitting in the lower 90s.
Mostly sunny skies across the region with only a few spotty showers will be possible during the late afternoon hours, and lasting into the early evening.
Once the sun sets any showers we have will quickly die down and temperatures will be allowed to cool to the upper 60s.
The rest of the work week looks hot and dry with shower chances dropping through the rest of the work week and won't pick back up until the end of the weekend.
