The sun will be out in full force on Wednesday leading to a warm afternoon before a steep drop in temperatures heading into the end of the work week and the weekend.
Highs Wednesday afternoon will sit in the upper 70s and as clouds move in overnight those lows will drop down into the lower 60s.
Clouds will stick around through the day on Thursday with a front finally pushing through by early Friday morning, sparking a few scattered showers in the meantime.
Not anticipating any kind of severe weather with this front and even the rain totals will remain fairly moderate with a quarter to a half inch at the most.
This will cool us down significantly for the weekend while clearing us out, a progressive pattern will bring close to freezing conditions by the middle of next week.
