We've made it through another work week, and as we sit with the weekend in our sights the forecast doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot changing.
Plenty of sunshine through the first half of the day with some clouds moving into the area by the afternoon and potentially producing a few showers to go along with it.
This will be the case through the remainder of the weekend as the overall pattern changes very little from day to day, which is typical for this time of year.
Showers will be isolated but that doesn't mean they won't produce a lot of rain at once, with all the moisture in the atmosphere heavy downpours will certainly be possible.
Temperatures will stick in the mid 90s with the heat index in the triple digits meaning the heat will stay cranked up all the way into next week.
Taking a quick peek into next weekend as well there doesn't seem to be much change in the forecast either with temperatures staying hot and humid.
