Victims of Hurricane Barry receive food assistance

FRANKLIN, LA. - Aetna Better Health Louisiana in partnership and Second Harvest Food Bank of Lafayette, are to host a food drive to those affected by Hurricane Barry. With the support of Mayor Eugene P. Foulcard, non-perishable meal packages will be distributed to the first 600 victims to arrive at the Broussard Harris Recreation Center on Thursday, August 1st, 2019 from 1-3 P.M.

Victims of Hurricane Barry in St. Mary Parish received some assistance Thursday.

Six hundred residents have been provided with non-perishable meal packages to help them recover from the storm.

Aetna Better Health Louisiana in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of Lafayette distributed the food at the Broussard Harris Recreation Center in Franklin.
