ST. MARY PARISH — UPDATE: All lanes are open on U.S. 90. Morgan City Police say that drivers should exercise caution as traffic may be heavy.

The Morgan City Police Department says that US hwy 90 is currently closed in both directions due to accidents on the bridge.
Currently, all traffic is being diverted onto Hwy 182. Motorists are asked to dive safely as first responders work to clear the accident scenes.
The crashes are reported on US 90 East and West Bound.
In Bayou Vista, St. Mary Parish Deputies have closed one lane of traffic in front of the Bayou Vista Walmart. Deputies say they are on the scene of a crash involving a motorcycle on Highway 90 east. The Left lane is blocked.
Motorists are advised to slow down in this area.
