UPDATE (2/25 11:00 p.m.): Morgan City Police Chief James F. Blair says Brandon Brunet has been found safe.
Morgan City Police investigators coordinated with investigators from the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office, who located Brunet in Livingston Parish.
Chief Blair thanked LPSO for their assistance.

The Morgan City Police Department is seeking information on the whereabouts of 17-year-old Brandon Brunet.
According to police, Brunet is 5'7", weighs 130 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Brunet may have traveled to other parts of Louisiana or Mississippi to visit friends, police say.
