UPDATE: The schools will resume tomorrow as usual, officials say.
Three St. Mary Parish schools are closing early today because of water issues.
Water service has been interrupted to Franklin Jr. High, Franklin High, and Foster Elementary, Superintendent Teresa Bagwell announced.
Students from Franklin High and Franklin Jr. High will be released at 1:00 p.m. and Foster Elementary students will be released at 1:30 p.m.
Buses will transport students as normal, the superintendent says.
