The following are the schools closed in Acadiana due to Hurricane Zeta.

ST MARY PARISH

PUBLIC SCHOOLS

Schools and offices of the St. Mary Parish School Board will be closed on Wednesday, October 28th, due to the approach of Hurricane Zeta Students will be scheduled for distance learning in lieu of attending school on campus October 28th, which will support ongoing instruction while remaining safe under severe weather conditions.
The school system will reopen for on-campus learning on Thursday, October 29th and asks that parents remain in communication with their child’s school as any updated information is posted on district and school websites.

PRIVATE AND CHARTER SCHOOLS

Due to the expected arrival of Hurricane Zeta, students of V. B. Glencoe Charter School will participate in virtual learning on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. All students will go home today with their electronic devices for virtual learning. All students will be virtual on Wednesday, October 28, 2020. We will reopen for in-person learning on Thursday, October 29, 2020. Please continue to monitor our website, FaceBook, and local media for further details.
