Morgan City Main Street is asking everyone in the parish to participate in a Rainbows over St. Mary Parish project.
The organization is trying to issue new challenges every few weeks, to help neighbors make it through the lockdown with community connections.
This week, they're asking everyone to create rainbows - kids and adults - and display the art on doors or in windows. They're also asking you to share pictures of your displays on social media, with the hashtags #rainbowsoversmp and #randomactsofcommunity
"Feel free to leave your bears & stuffies in the windows too so families can continue to #BearHunt! We will try to issue a new challenge or two a week while we're on lockdown to keep the community involved and spread hope throughout our area," the group writes.
