One injured in Franklin shooting

Franklin Police are investigating a shooting incident Tuesday that left one person injured.

The police department received multiple calls of shots fired around 12:45 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Anderson Street and Joseph Street.

According to police, officers arrived on scene and spoke with victims; one victim, who was transported to a local hospital, sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The shooting incident is under investigation, police say.

The Franklin Police Department is asking that anyone with information or who was a witness to the incident call the Franklin Police Department at 337-828-1716.
