On Saturday, a group of scouts from Morgan City followed their oath to help other people at all times by serving up burgers to those impacted by Hurricane Delta.

Members of BSA Pack 438 and Troop 49 partnered with the Cajun Army on October 17 in Grand Lake to assist victims of the storm.

The group served 1,328 hamburgers along with chips and bottled water to citizens at the Grand Lake Faith Temple.

Burgers were also provided to residents of a nearby neighborhood and to around 700 National Guard members stationed at McNeese State University.

Following Hurricane Larua's landfall, the group also traveled to impacted areas of the state to serve jambalaya and white beans.
