In Morgan City, many businesses have their doors open - for now - but their windows are boarded up in anticipation of the storm.
There's no mandatory evacuation in the city.
KATC has visited several gas stations and convenience stores in the area, and all are reporting that they will stay open until the power goes out or officials tell them to leave.
