A juvenile has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Morgan City on Wednesday morning.
Morgan City Police Department says they responded to a call of a shooting in the 800 block of Ditch Ave on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at 2:22 A.M. Upon arrival, officers say they located an individual suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim was transported to a medical facility for treatment.
During the investigation, Detectives were able to obtain an arrest warrant for a juvenile suspect for Attempted Second Degree Murder. The suspect was located and placed under arrest at the Morgan City Police Department. Their identity was not released.
An investigation is still ongoing.
