AMELIA, LA — The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office is looking for the person responsible for holding up an Amelia business at gunpoint.
On Saturday, December 19, 2020, at 6:40 p.m. the suspect entered the business and pulled out a small semi-automatic handgun. The suspect allegedly took merchandise and cash totaling over $5,000.
The suspect was wearing a black jacket, black pants, a disposable face mask, and a backpack with gray and blue accent colors.
No one was injured in the robbery.
