A 21-year-old Gibson man was arrested Wednesday accused of impersonating a police officer.
Daniel M. Elliot was located by police and placed under arrest on an active warrant held to by the Morgan City Police Department.

Officers say the warrant stems from a complaint filed with the department on January 20, 2021.
The warrant alleges that Elliot knocked on the complainant's door and identified himself as a police officer. The complaint also alleges that Elliot damaged property while at the residence.
Elliot was booked and incarcerated into the Morgan City jail on the following charges:
- Criminal Damage to Property
- Impersonating a Police Officer
