The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office has identified the victim of a Saturday morning shooting in Baldwin.
Deputies say 25-year-old Karlnita Marks of Baldwin was shot around 12:30 am on May 30.
Marks was taken to a local hospital where she later died.
The sheriff's office says Marks' death is being investigated as a homicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
