The boil advisory issued this week for the City of Franklin has been lifted.
Officials with the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals - Office of Public Health say water samples collected from the Franklin water supply system have shown the water is safe for consumption and use.
The advisory was issued after a water main break in the city.
