City leaders held a Unity Bike Ride Saturday evening in Berwick, with the goal of bringing the community together.
Riders of all ages were able to participate on the just under four-mile ride.
The second annual event was co-sponsored by the town and the Berwick Police Department.
Vanessa Spinella, Sales Manager of Cajun Coast, an St. Mary Parish tourism bureau, said the event is just one way to bring residents together and display unity during these difficult times.
"During COVID we're trying to think of a way to bring people out and bring them together," explained Spinella. "And people signed up. We light up the bikes and take off!"
