ST. MARTINVILLE, La — The identity of a St. Martinville woman that died as the result of a single vehicle crash has been released.
According to a spokesman with Louisiana State Police Troop 60-year-old Arlene Higginbotham was driving on LA 3039 on December 12, 2019 when the crash happened.
According to troopers Higginbotham ran off the roadway and overturned ejecting her from the vehicle.
Higginbotham was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries on December 19th.
This crash remains under investigation.
