A Lafayette woman has been arrested, accused of hitting a man with a vehicle.

Breaux Bridge Police say that 21-year-old Maggen Dunbar was in a dispute with the individual when she struck him with a vehicle in the Grand Point Avenue area Monday afternoon. Assistant Chief Terry Latiolais says the two were in a relationship together but could not give specific details.

The man was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. Latiolais says there were no serious injuries reported.

Dunbar was arrested and transported to the SMPCC on the charges listed below:

  • Illegal Possession of Stolen Things
  • Child Restraint System
  • Driving Under Suspension
