The St. Martin Parish Council on Aging will be closed on June 8 due to weather from Tropical Depression Cristobal.
Agency Executive Director Shanese Lewis announced the closure on Monday morning.
Lewis says that home-delivered and congregate meals will not be distributed on Monday. On Friday, seniors received two-days worth of shelf-stable meals to help prepare for any emergency closures.
The Council on Aging will not offer transportation services on Monday due to weather.
Lewis says an update on further operations will be provided once more information is available.
