Water being shut off in St. Martinville to repair leak

ST. MARTINVILLE, La. — Officials with the City of St. Martinville say that crews will begin to work on a water leak will beginning at 6 p.m. on the East side of the Bayou Teche.

Officials say that they expect that water service may be turned off at some point after 6 p.m.

They add that crews will work on the leak for as long as they can until it is repaired.

No boil advisory is being put in place at this time.
