All lanes are cleared and now open on I-10 East near the Lafayette/St. Martin Parish line after a vehicle fire Wednesday morning.
Lafayette Fire officials say they were called to the accident, which happened near mile marker 106. The truck was on fire, blocking the right lane. Two pumpers, a rescue unit, a hazmat unit and several command units got there, then put out the call for more tankers from Broussard, Carencro, Duson and Scott.
The fire was extinguished, and there was no hazmat concern. The tractor trailer was hauling car parts, fire officials say.

State Police say there were no injuries reported, and no crash. Equipment on the truck malfunctioned and the fire started, troopers say.
I-10 east was down to one lane for a few hours due to the cleanup on the outside shoulder.
As of 3:30, traffic had reached University Avenue.
