There was a lot of commotion along Catahoula Highway this afternoon.
There were lots of cars, with sirens and horns blowing, driving past the home of Ruben "Pop" Guillory.
People were waving a smiling, and "Pop" was at the window, waving like crazy. Today was his 100th birthday, and he celebrated in COVID style with a drive-by parade.
"I'm celebrating my birthday," he tells us. "I'm happy. I'm happy to be 100."
Guillory said he wants to "live some more," and his greatest wish for the coming year is that he stays healthy.
