St. Martin Parish to distribute masks to residents on Wednesday

Masks will be distributed to residents of St. Martin Parish beginning Wednesday, April 29 at various locations in the parish.

The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office says that the parish's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness recently received cotton masks as a donation by the Hanes Corporation.

Those masks will be distributed beginning at 10:00 am. Residents are asked to visit the site in the city in which they reside.

Residents in unincorporated areas can visit the St Martin Parish Sheriff's Office.

When picking up masks, residents should remain in their vehicles.

Each vehicle will receive one package containing five masks.

The sheriff's office says that, for safety purposes, no pedestrians will be allowed at the sites.

Distribution sites include:

  • Unincorporated areas of St. Martin Parish: St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office Public Safety Complex - 4870 Main Hwy, Parks, LA.
  • Breaux Bridge City Limits - Parc Hardy Pavilion -755 Doucet Drive, Breaux Bridge, LA.
  • St. Martinville City Limits - St. Martinville City Hall-120 S. New Market Street, St. Martinville, LA.
  • Henderson City Limits - Henry Guidry Park Pavilion (behind City Hall)-1007 Amy Street, Henderson, LA.
  • Parks City Limits - Parks City Hall Drive Thru-1019 Periou St., Parks, LA
