St. Martin Parish residents urged to report damage

St. Martin Parish officials are asking residents to report any and all damages sustained to homes and businesses as a result of Hurricane Delta.

The Sheriff's Office says that deputies have been patrolling the parish and assessing the widespread damage.

In order to determine if St. Martin Parish will qualify for Federal FEMA Assistance, officals are asking that any resident or business owner that sustained damage contact the St. Martin Parish OHSEP Office at (337) 394-2808 or email ohsep@stmartinsheriff.org.

When calling or emailing, residents are asked to provide the following information:

  • Name and Address
  • Contact Information (phone and email)
  • Pictures of any and all damage
  • Whether you own or rent the property
  • Whether or not you have insurance coverage
  • Provide the type of home you have (mobile home, brick, wood, etc.)
  • Type of damage sustained

Residents are asked to call as soon as possible to report damage in order for the parish qualify for Federal FEMA Assistance.

Damage reporting applies to homes and businesses in St. Martin Parish.
