Preparations are underway for this year's St. Lucy Festival of Lights in St. Martinville.
It's happening this Saturday, December 12 at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church.
Mass starts at 4:00 pm then live music follows at 5:00 pm.
There will also be the traditional lighting of the square and a live nativity.
"I tell you right now if you come out and visit you're gonna see something special in St Martinville," said George Choplin, Committee member. "This little community is so close knit we know how to have a good time and I think it's time that we go ahead and try to at least enjoy life."
