12:00 PM UPDATE: All lanes of I-10 West near Henderson are now OPEN following vehicle recovery operations in the area.
Crews were working throughout the morning to upright and remove an overturned 18-wheeler from the side of the road way.
Congestion has reached approximately three miles before LA 975 at Whiskey Bay.

Vehicle recovery efforts have blocked the right lane of I-10 West just before LA 347 in Henderson.
Crews are working to upright and remove an overturned tractor trailer from the side of the roadway. DOTD says congestion is approaching five miles in length.

State Police Troop I says that the Henderson Police Department is currently on the scene. One lane of traffic is still flowing.
The right lane of the roadway has closed and reopened intermittently throughout the night due to those operations. The overturned trailer and blocked roadway were first reported early Thursday morning. The efforts to remove the vehicle have been ongoing since that time.
Several accidents and vehicle recovery operations blocked the same location on I-10 West on Wednesday, July 31.
